Resource is brought to you by the Alberta Energy Regulator.
Alberta - November 5, 2018

Geological work is much more than geoscientists wielding their rock hammers for the purpose of academic study. As the Alberta Geological Survey (AGS) demonstrates, it’s also about using the latest technologies to find real-world answers to real-world questions and concerns.

The AGS—a branch of the Alberta Energy Regulator—has developed interactive 3D geological models that provide science-based support for the evaluation of Alberta’s geology and energy resources. The models are also used to inform decisions in the development of Alberta’s oil and gas resources. Watch our video and visit the AGS website to learn more about the innovative 3D Geological Framework Program.
